Privacy Policy
Nourivah by Sherryfah ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it and how we keep it safe, in line with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Who we are
Nourivah by Sherryfah is run by Sherryfah Adekoya, who is the data controller for the information you share on this website. You can contact us at hello@nourivahbysherryfah.co.uk.
What we collect
- Contact details, such as your name and email address, when you send a message or booking request.
- Event details, such as dates, postcodes and guest numbers, when you request catering.
- Health and dietary information you choose to share for consultations or allergies. This is special category data, and we only use it with your explicit consent.
- Location data, only if you choose to use "Use my current location" to check delivery. We use it once to check your area and do not store it.
- Basic technical data, such as browser type, through essential cookies and, if you agree, analytics cookies.
How we use it
- To respond to your enquiries and manage bookings (contract).
- To provide safe, personalised nutrition advice and catering (consent and contract).
- To keep records required by law, such as invoices (legal obligation).
- To improve our website, if you accept analytics cookies (consent).
Postcode checks
To confirm your event is inside the M25, the postcode you enter is sent to postcodes.io, a free UK postcode lookup service, to find its approximate location. No other personal details are shared.
Sharing your information
We never sell your data. We only share it with trusted providers who help us run the business, such as email and website hosting, and only as much as they need.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for up to 12 months. Client and booking records are kept for up to 7 years for legal and accounting reasons, then deleted securely.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your data, to object to its use, to data portability and to withdraw consent at any time. Email us to make a request. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
